Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The Kiosk scores high on its excellent coffee and wide assortment of delicious desserts, particularly their New Forest ice cream. Visitors rave about the friendly, quick service and the opportunity to enjoy meals outdoors. Many enjoy the bacon baps and sausage rolls, especially after a cycle ride, finding the location perfect for a mid-ride refuel. The nearby benches provide excellent vantage points for stunning sea views, enhancing the overall experience.

People appreciate the cleanliness of the kiosk and the attentiveness of the staff, as well as the delightful homemade products available, like flapjacks and specialty hot chocolates. Families find it a great outing spot, thanks to options like a kids’ menu and spacious outdoor seating.

Most Disliked

Some visitors note the lack of indoor seating, as The Kiosk only has outdoor benches nearby. This can be particularly uncomfortable on windy or rainy days, reducing the overall dining experience. Additionally, during peak hours, longer wait times can occur, especially on Sundays around lunchtime when the crowds roll in for their takeaway meals.

Substantial walk times from parking to the kiosk may also be a downside for some, especially on busy weekends. While many enjoy the outdoor dining setup, others feel the need for a bit more shelter or comfort. Additionally, the limited menu might not cater to everyone’s taste, particularly for those seeking extensive dining options.

This is just a kiosk cafe in the clifftop car park. No seating but there a benches nearby looking out over the sea to the IOW. Perfect place for a mid cycle ride stop & refuel. Had double espresso & and homemade flapjack - both were excellent !! Looks they do a reasonable selection of cafe food aswell. Service was quick, friendly & polite. May make this regular stop on longer rides in future.

I travel fairly often on the X1 bus from Lymington to Hordle Cliff to buy lunch. The food is great and the service friendly. The view is outstanding and the atmosphere tranquil. I can't really imagine anywhere better to enjoy a Sausage & Bacon Bap and a Latte, followed by an ice cream on a sunny day!

£7 for a cheese and bacon baguette. Staff were friendly and smiling, good quality food well cooked. About a 10 minute wait, but you won't mind as the views are beautiful ❤️

First class coffee - sadly probably the best you can get locally. A selection of hot and cold drinks available. Also chips, bacon or sausage baps and some hot savoury pasties depending on what they have left. New Forest Ice cream and a good selection and choice of wafer or waffle cones. I'm told the salted caramel is the best one but the chocolate was very pleasant :) People serving are friendly, efficient and the whole place seems clean.

Cute little Kiosk on the clifftop It has a lovely view over to the Isle of Wight Lots of parking & toilets next to kiosk. Good selection of food, I especially recommend their cakes, tea & baps, but today it was very cold so I had a special hot chocolate! I also attached a photo of their menu & prices :)

Food is fantastic for a small kiosk. Staff are really friendly and prices are extremely reasonable. Wait times can be up to 15 minutes on a busy day but at least you know you’re getting fresh food! If you ask the staff for a wait time, they will give you an accurate time.

Excellent ice cream. What more do you want for a day at the seaside. And there are toilets too!
